Sony BMG has been a very vocal supporter of the RIAA anti-piracy laws. They have even filed laws suits against consumers who download music. Well the tables have turned and and it was discovered that they where running a pirated version of PointDev Windows administration tools. This discovery lead to a raid of all of Sony’s servers which found tons more pirated software. In fact it was estimated that over %47 of the software on Sony BMG’s computer could be pirated software. Will Apple Ever Make a Sub-$500 Laptop?
March 28th, 2008 — Web 2.0

At the last big Apple annoumcenemt many of the Apple fanboys, even myself, where hoping that Apple was going to release a mini-touch screen notebook that would change the world and be $500. Instead the release the MacBook Air which cost $1700 for the basic and $3000 for the better version. Now everyone is getting into the cheap computer business. HP, Dell, and everyone is banking on bring you some mobile computing goodness for less. But will this all be for not? If Apple comes out with a MacBook mini will everyone jump ship and go nuts? I think so! I know I would want one. So Apple get to it!
Note to Guy Kawasaki on Alltop.com, Diversity PLEASE
March 27th, 2008 — Web 2.0

I wasn’t a big fan of Alltop.com at first. I thought it was kinda stupid but then I really found a usefulness for the service in my day to day blogging. It’s not the best site in the world but it works and it’s extremely useful. But I do have a huge favor to ask:
Can we get more diversity on the feeds? I did ask ya to put Allhiphop up on there but they only seem to push out 1 story on their RSS feed. But I would to so a more diverse mix of sites. I think AllHiphop, Bollywood Buzz, and Young, Black, and Fab are the only African-American/Minority sites listed? But what about Latino, Asian, and other sites that give a bigger picture of the online experience. I want to see Africa.alltop.com! Asia.alltop.com and more so that we can get a global picture of the best sites on the web.
