$200 3G iPhone

http://www.handcellphone.com/wp-content/themes/green-marinee/phonepic/apple-iphone-keyboard.jpg

Fortune magazine has released a statement to the press saying that Apple will cut the price of the iPhone down to $199. WOW! If this is the case then everyone and their mama will have an iPhone and will pretty much leave every other cellphone company begging for their own version of the iPhone to sell.

AT&T is preparing to subsidize $200 of the cost of a new iPhone,
bringing the price down to $199 for customers who sign two-year
contracts, the source says. Apple is expected to have two versions of
the new iPhone, an 8-gigabit-memory and a 16-gigabit-memory model with
price tags widely expected to be $399 and $499.

I do however have a hard time believing that this is true because I doubt if Apple is going to sell anymore 8gb iPhones.

Apple has reason to be happy today as their earning have gone up 36%. The Mac computer devision has been leading the sales while the iPhone and iPod sales are starting to slip. This is a good time in the business of Apple as they have tried for so long to get their computer sales up. Now they are in a good position to make a bigger impact in the market.

Is America Ready for 2D Codes? No!

http://blog.letsbuyit.com/fr/wp-content/uploads/2007/06/code2d.png

Your going to be seeing a lot more images that look like this one. In the years to come in the US. Overseas most cell phones are equipped with 2D Code readers. This is just like a barcode but when you use it with your cell phone you can get a video, a test message, or taken to a website. It’s huge in Japan but here in the US you have to download special software to make it fly. But for now America is not ready for the 2D code revolution.
