So we LOVE LOVE LOVE Beat Maker by Intua. To me it’s the only app worth paying for. But last night I was browsing around the music section of the app store and found a new beat maker called iDrum Hip-Hop Edition. They should kind of call it iSuck cause this one is NOT as good at the Intua version. This app is more for kids looking to play around with some beats. It doesn’t have the power or style of the Beat Maker. But hey you be the judge and check it out for your self and let me know how you like it.

2D Code Readers Hit the Apple App Store
August 11th, 2008 — Web 2.0
I’m using i-nigma on my Blackjack II to scan codes but for any of you out there with iPhones here are the code readers.
Barcode
NeoReader
iDecode
2D Sense
I just finished testing all 4 of them out. NeoReader works the best and has the best user experience. iDecode works pretty crazy cause you have to pick between Datamatrix or QR Code…and if you have no idea on how to tell the difference between the two then you will be totally stuck.
Want something cool to scan then check out the Jim Beam ads currently running in Rolling Stone magazine. You can download free ringtones and wallpapers from m.thestuffinside.com.

EZ Street: DC Comics States That Bruce Wayne Will No Longer Be Batman!!!
July 29th, 2008 — Web 2.0

Can DC really kill off Batman, now that the movie is super HOT!
From IGN.com:
Though DC and Grant Morrison have been a bit evasive about the outcome of the Batman RIP arc, one thing seems to be… almost certain - Bruce Wayne will not be Batman afterwards.
During Comic-Con, DC ran a teaser image entitled “Battle for the Cowl”. DC’s Executive Editor Dan DiDio suggested later that the caption wasn’t supposed to be there, but happened to repeat the phrase
during a Sunday panel anyway.
The image basically speaks for itself, so let’s get to it. Be sure to leave your ideas, hopes, fears and predictions in the comments thread.
Stay tuned to IGN for some more DC teaser images as well as the latest from Comic-Con. The convention ends later today, but there will be news trickling in over the next couple of days.

PS3 2.41 Update Coming Wednesday
July 8th, 2008 — Web 2.0
The Sony Playstation 3 community has been up in arms recently over the latest software upgrades from the parent company. A few weeks ago PS3 makers released firmware 2.40 and that update cause several PS3’s to go dead aka brick. PS3 makers quickly pulled the software from the network and they are now planning on releasing PS3 2.41 firmware update which should fix any problems. If you are a PS3 owner make sure to wait before you upgrade to be 100% certain that this update is good and will not brick your PS3 system.
